Some good performances I originally rented "Grind" because I am a big fan of "Jackass" and four or the guys from that show are in this film.

I will get to them in a moment. First of all, I found the dialogue and the situations too predictable at times. Secondly, the "hot girls" all over the place became annoying very quickly. With that being said, I actually liked the movie. It's not at all something that I would normally like.

Now, I wasn't expecting to laugh much because the type of things I find funny aren't generally things other people find funny. However I did chuckle several times at Adam Brody, who, in my opinion, did the best job of the four main fellows.

This is a very enjoyable comedy that has been unfairly criticized. I thought that Grind had plenty of charm and wit about it to make it a very good little film to watch with friends.

The film is flawed, but is nonetheless fun with decent gags, decent story and good characters. If you're in the mood for a mindless comedy, Grind is that film. The film has its flaws, but for the most part it succeeds at being a humorous film due tom its main cast who are simply great in their roles. The film could be reworked a bit to make the material better, but for the most part, it succeeds very well at bringing on mindless laughs.
