Why does alliance always win av

Blizzard This is a subject that has been asked about several times recently, and we want to clarify some of the details surrounding it.
Like many aspects of the game, Alterac Valley was tuned and adjusted in different ways from patch to patch in In Alterac Valley, that puts us before the introduction of reinforcements. It puts us before the removal of all of the Commanders and Lieutenants.
Turning in armor scraps is an encouraged, supportive activity by this point. Now, this past weekend was AV weekend and it's frustrating knowing you're just going to lose. This topic has been discussed to death in the Forums, but a big thing for me is the placement of NPCs in each of the base camps.
How many do Horde have while trying to cap AS? It's ridiculous. I try to get past the bridge, with archers shooting me for each, and in a desperate attempt to get some Huntard's pet off my dying clothie behind, I Fear.
So since Alliance have such a wonderfully-guarded base in the form of NPC defense, and Horde have none in their base, the zerg no longer works, and Horde are forced to play defense. Unfortunately, at least in my BG, Horde don't want to do this. And I personally hate playing defense. It's so much fun getting attacked by 20 Alliance and seeing "AllyMage rolls on the floor laughing at you" while you die.
Not to mention that sometimes we zerg and win, and sometimes we do have folks playing defense and still lose, so I'm at a loss to explain why we now generally lose a BG we used to dominate before the changes. Alliance, due to general mindset as well as racial abilities the racials were more of an issue pre-bc, but are still an issue draws the most serious PvE players.
Many on alliance who do PvP do it in their off-time as a way for extra gear, or just as something to pass the time. Horde racials and views though have generally attracted PvP players who PvP as their main component of the game. That puts the different BG styles on a slant of sorts. It's kinda funny that the same views can even be seen in real life. The Horde players were extremely proud "For the Horde!
Very anti-alliance. The Alliance players on the other hand - didn't seem to care. For the Alliance guys, the distinction between the factions was close to irrelevant as most that I met were PvE players, and the distinction simply doesn't matter in that segment of the game as the Horde are generally just ignored, rather than fought.
I suspect it started long ago, when Horde was significantly disadvantaged in AV due to several factors that have since been patched. Since they usually lost in AV, most of their dedicated PvP'ers focused on and developed strong game in the 'lesser' BG's, where there was no real advantage to either side.
For ages, at least on our battlegroup, horde premades and experienced and well-geared horde pugs kicked ass and still usually do in AB, WSG, EotS. So even to this day, I think most of the better horde PvP'ers are still doing it that way, and frequently ignoring AV and the higher risk of losing it. Why mess with AV when you got almost a sure thing in all the other BG's? Hunter, Warrior, even the 51 Mage got the quest this past AV weekend, but all of them saved it until the weekend was over.
No, I don't think that's correct. The same happens on Misery EU, but Alliance lose the bracket because they are hopelessly outnumbered each game.
About at the start, and maybe at the end. In the 70 bracket, Alliance have the edge in wins and numbers are even. AV is not balanced, that much is obvious because it's not symetrical, the bases are completely different, the towers vs bunkers are different, FW gy is much more easily reachable and assaultable compared to it's equivalent SP gy, the bosses are different.
You get the picture. I think layout contributes towards small advantages to each side, and it's how those advantages are realised and used that determines the winning faction.
We used to take SH gy, kill Balinda and quite a few people would stay to defend the initial Alliance rush. Eventually usually the whole Alliance attack would be defeated and we'd go into a turtle game driving Alliance back to their base slowly along the road. SH and Icewing bunker would cap and most games would end in a reinforcement battle, sometimes with Alliance getting no bonus honour.
All of that changed in 2. It takes us longer to get to Balinda and SH gy, and capping SH gy is a lot more difficult with Alliance defenders there and at Balinda. May 18, Alterac valley why do horde always win? Similar reason why Alliance usually loses Isle of Conquest.
They over complicate things and try to min max their strategies in non-premade BGs. Sure, taking docks, using catapults, and protecting glaives is technically a faster way to down gate than rushing hangar and dropping into the enemy base, but that requires multiple groups of people synchronizing their actions.
Horde sticks to the tried and true methods that work well for PUGs -- go for simple objectives and move as a group. You see the same in AV where Alliance tries to do everything perfectly by going around the enemy to down bosses, cap towers, etc. Killing their FC and getting your team wiped, is losing the fight and winning the objective. AB is absolutely the same, you can out-rotate and stall your opponent while losing every major fight and still come out the victor.
See I was just ignoring all this nonsense you spewed since you seem upset for no reason, but like come on dude.
Alliance stepped up their game a little bit I find. Map wasnt designed for alliance to have much of a chance. Wonder how they won back in the day? You need to calm down bud. You can lose every single fight in AV, but if you kill the general, you win.
